SWELL Sculpture Festival 2021
SWELL’s 19th event
SWELL Sculpture Festival is taking over Currumbin Beach once again this September. And if you’re yet to attend SWELL Festival, this is your chance!
SWELL Sculpture Festival Gold Coast is an event like no other, which transforms Currumbin Beach into a giant outdoor art gallery of contemporary sculptures created by local, national and international artists.
It’s Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibition, pulling in over 250,000 visitors annually. And this year it’s celebrating its 19th consecutive event!
As usual, SWELL Sculpture Festival 2021 will be FREE to attend, with more than 65 small and large-scale sculptures to feast your eyes on Currumbin Beach Gold Coast - inspiring, thought-provoking and fascinating for all ages.
Sculptures will also appear at Mudgeeraba, Chevron Island and Helensvale, with more to see at The Dust Temple (SWELL Smalls Gallery) in Currumbin.
To top it off, there will be guided twilight walks on Currumbin Beach (offering insights on each sculpture), artist talks and artist-led workshops for budding sculptors and artists.
All in all, a must-attend spring event that will be free to check out for 10 whole days.
Don’t miss it - SWELL Sculpture Festival 2021 will take over Currumbin Beach from September 10 to September 19.
Classic Car Show - Coming on Father’s Day
SWELL Sculpture Festival isn’t the only exciting thing happening on the Gold Coast in September. And if you’re hoping to plan something special for Father’s Day, here’s another event that you’ll want to jot on your calendar.
Carrara Markets Classic Car Show - coming exclusively for Father’s Day - is back to host two days of classic car displays and toe-tapping rock ’n’ roll music.
Caddys, Chevies, Mustangs, Corvettes and more, Classic Car Show 2021 will have plenty to marvel at for classic car enthusiasts and autophiles.
It’s FREE and will take place on September 4 and September 5.
Crafted Festival Gold Coast
Yes, there’s more! Just one week after Classic Car Show, CRAFTED FESTIVAL 2021 will bring Kurrawa Park Broadbeach to life with over 250 brews from more than 40 of the best craft brewers in Australia.
Love craft beer? Then Crafted Beer & Cider Festival is not to be missed, boasting everything from IPAs and classic ales to lagers and ciders - plus an assortment of alcoholic ginger beers and seltzers.
And that’s not all. There will be a full live music lineup to enjoy as you sip on your favourite brews, including Luca Brasi, Teenage Joans, Electrik Lemonade, Debbies, The Flowers, Pure Milk, Beatniks DJs and more.
Get ready - Crafted Festival Gold Coast comes to Kurrawa Park on September 11.
Mudgeeraba Show 2021
One more event to include on your calendar… Mudgeeraba Show is all set for a big return to once again showcase and celebrate agricultural production on the Gold Coast.
Also known as the Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show, Mudgeeraba Show is a three-day-long event that offers local food and fresh produce, plants and flowers, exhibitors, local stallholders and, of course, fun entertainment, competitions and activities for all the family.
Mudgeeraba Show 2021 will have plenty to see, do and get your hands on, so make sure to come by the Mudgeeraba Showground on the weekend of September 17, 18 and 19.
