Since 2002, SWELL Sculpture Festival has been one of the Gold Coast’s biggest annual events, which aims to bring together art and environment over ten days on Currumbin Beach. Using the backdrop of one of the Southern Gold Coast’s famous beaches, SWELL Sculpture Festival creates a mesmerising and thought-provoking beachfront experience, featuring over 50 artworks, sculptures, and interactive exhibits to see decorating both the sand and ocean. SWELL Sculpture Festival showcases the art of both national and international artists, and attracts an average turnout of almost 300,000 annually.
