Do you enjoy engaging with people and the arts? The SWELL Sculpture Festival in Queensland is home to the largest outdoor sculpture exhibition.
From September 9 through September 18, the 20th edition features up to 65 impressive sculptures created by local, national, and international artists. The Gold Coast's main exhibition is along Pacific Parade in Currumbin. You can view the sculptures whenever you like. It is open every day from 8 am to 5 pm. Be advised that specific sculptures will be lit up from 5 until 9 pm to display a fresh vigour.
There will also be pop-up displays across the region. The northerlySWELL is in Helensvale Cultural Precinct and Library, while the easterlySWELL is in Chevron Island Park. There is also a SWELL Smalls Gallery opposite Salt Mill in Pacific Parade, Currumbin Beach. Lastly, the SWELL Fringe Festival is in Wallace Nicoll Park in Pacific Parade, Currumbin Beach.

Along with these unique experiences, the festival also provides artist talks close to the sculptures, artist-led workshops and a guided sculpture walk.
Join an artistic adventure led by guest curators. Appreciate the sculptures from various perspectives and discover the creation process. Reservations are required, and these tours also necessitate walking on sand.
There are two sessions per day for the guided sculpture walk. Visit the Northern SWELL Information Hub at the Currumbin Alley Parking Lot in Currumbin, Queensland. Children under 16 can attend for FREE. Adults pay a $15 + booking fee for admission, which includes a printed SWELL program.
