Coming to Queen Elizabeth Park in Coolangatta, By the C is a huge all-day concert on the scenic Gold Coast with a lineup of some of the most iconic names in Australian music. The concert will take over Queen Elizabeth Park from afternoon to evening with back-to-back live performances, providing an explosive festival experience for festival-lovers, beachgoers and concert fanatics alike!

Another revered icon on the Australian music scene, Daryl Braithwaite’s career still knows no bounds as he takes supporting headliner for By the C! Daryl Braithwaite is an ARIA Hall of Fame inductee with 15 Australian top 40 hits and seven ARIA-charted albums under his belt. His most celebrated songs include “The Horses”, “You’re My World”, “One Summer”, “As the Days Go By” and more - all of which are easily recognisable by his soulful balladeer voice and upbeat pop-rock style.
Over his five-decade career, Daryl Braithwaite has solidified a reputation as one of Australia’s most successful singers, which began when he was the lead vocalist of Sherbet, before leaving to embark on a solo career that is still lauded to this day. Armed with his recent 2017 album Days Go By, Daryl Braithwaite is all set to get the early evening audience moving for By the C.
Jon Stevens
Born in New Zealand but rising to fame in Australia, Jon Stevens is a talented singer with 10 studio albums and a long list of charted singles in both Australia and New Zealand. He’s well-known for his diverse vocal talent, which is noticeable throughout the mellow lyrics of “Take Me Back” to the gritty rock and roll style on his best-known song “Fly”.
From 2000 to 2003, Jon Stevens fronted INXS, and before that he even dabbled in theatre, playing the role of Judas in the highly acclaimed Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar. The production then spawned an original cast studio album, which became the bestselling album in Australia in 1992. Celebrated as one of Australia’s most recognisable female icons, singer-songwriter Vanessa Amorosi is all set to reel in the crowds with her afternoon performance at By the C. She’s most famous for her upbeat 1999 hit “Absolutely Everybody”, which reached number six in Australia and became one of the unofficial anthems of the 2000 Summer Olympic Games held in Sydney. Over her career, Vanessa Amorosi has been nominated for a string of ARIA Awards: three of which she won, including the ARIA No.1 Chart Award for her 2010 song “This Is Who I Am”. Ross Wilson
Famous singer-songwriter and producer Ross Wilson has held an illustrious career on the Australian music scene since the ‘60s. He’s the frontman of Melbourne rock band Daddy Cool and the former frontman of Mondo Rock, and has produced for the likes of Skyhooks and Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons. For a dose of early afternoon rock, don’t miss ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Ross Wilson when he performs at By the C.
Abbey Stone
Up-and-coming female singer-songwriter Abbey Stone will set the bar high as she kicks off By the C with her mix of catchy pop, soul and rock. Having performed all over Australia as well as America, Abbey Stone has already begun to take the music scene by storm, performing at notable venues and stages as well as opening for big acts such as world-famous balladeer Richard Marx.
